The Murraya is an evergreen shrub that grows to around 3m tall. Murraya plants & hedges are grown all over Sydney and are a popular hardy shrub.
Their stunning small white flowers bloom in spring & sometimes again in late summer. The flowers smell just like orange blossom and are produced in abundance in spring then again in late summer. The compact foliage makes anexcellent privacy screen or hedge.
Murrayas prefer a sunny position in well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. To maintain a murraya hedge prune lightly two to three times a year in spring and summer.
