Ribbon Plant

The ribbon plant (Chlorophytum comosum) is a very beautiful plant that’s appreciated as much for its variegated evergreen foliage as it is for its blooming. It can survive indoors or outdoors, both in very well-lit spots and in slightly darker places. If growing indoors, it’s perfect for hanging baskets placed in a bright window. In frost-free climates, spider plant can be used as a groundcover, in borders and as edging around beds, walkways and paths.

Water regularly, and fertilise with a liquid plant food every two weeks during the summer. During winter, withhold fertiliser and water less frequently.

• Height – Approximately 50 cm indoors
• Place in a very well-lit area for best colour but will also tolerate shade
• Evergreen foliage, blooms in summer
