Alocasia ‘Giant Elephant Ear’

Alocasia macrorrhizos ‘Giant Elephant Ear’ or ‘Giant Taro’ are distinctly exotic and tropical plants that are increasingly becoming popular as houseplants. They are typically grown as pot plants, and should be kept out of cool draughts in winter, and western sun to avoid burning the foliage. They should be cared for as any other tropical plant with weekly cleaning of the leaves and frequent fine water misting without leaving the plants wet.
