The Cascade Palm (Chamaedorea Cataractarum) comes from Mexico. It grows best in shady moist areas . The maximum height the Cascade will grow is about 2 metres.
Suited to full sun and plenty of water, otherwise the plant will tend to brown off. It has a feather style leaf, which is dark green. There are no dangerous spikes to this palm and it looks good by itself or used in multiples as a hedge.
Grows well in tropical and coastal areas, but not suited to the westerly sun in Sydney.
