Description
The Dragon Tree Dracaena Draco is a subtropical tree-like plant native to the Canary Islands. It is a sculptured plant, which creates a beautiful feature in the garden.
The young Dragon Tree has a single stem and is very slow growing, at about 10 to 15 years of age the stem stops growing and produces a first flower spike with white lily-like perfumed flowers, followed by coral berries. Soon a crown of buds appear and the plant starts branching which creates a multi-head.
They are very good drought tolerant plants and need minimal amounts of water. They must be planted in a well drained position.
